I have just done a search on the Birds Queensland web site using the sites search facility and only came up with 5 hits. Four were to bird sightings lists, the other, a list of outings for the coming year. On the AWC "Friends of Bowra" site, one is still asked to contact Julie McLaren and at the bottom of the page is a statement that "Information on visiting Bowra after March 2010 will be displayed on this website in the next few months"

Hopefully all will become clear in the fullness of time.

As I understand it, it was purchased by AWC, and BQ has put its hand up to provide management of the birding and camping. There is to be a full time caretaker, who will handle the land management, so I'm told.

Nice update, Jill - thanks.
Just a bit puzzled....., you say Birds Queensland will be involved?? Property was purchased by AWC, so, what gives??? Anyone?

Cheers
