usual colour form of King Parrot

This morning in suburban Canberra on my way to work I cycled past a
group of feeding King Parrots. One bird was different in colour from
the rest, it was light green, so light green in fact that at first I
thought it was an escapee Ring-necked Parakeet feeding with them.
However on closer observation it seemed to be a female King Parrot
with all the dark green it replaced with a lighter, leaf-green. This
doesn't seem to be any of the usual plumage aberrations (leucistic,
albino &c), or that viral disease they get with patches of yellow
feathers.

Can anyone throw an light on this?
