This morning I had a Rose-crowned Fruit-Dove showing nicely at my Ninderry
property on the Sunshine Coast. This is very late for the species, a summer
migrant to southeast Queensland, although a very small number appear to hang
around during winter. Yesterday I had a Little Bronze Cuckoo and a
Cicadabird - both also summer migrants - on the property, so it appears the
trend towards these migrants overstaying or leaving later is continuing.
