Hi all, I was out for a walk at the Wilson Reserve in Ivanhoe on Sunday morning when I heard a double whistle that might have been a Crested Shrike-Tit. The call was repeated four or five times, but I couldn't find the bird. I've seen CSTs there before, but not for quite some time - maybe five years. I know that Blackbirds can make a similar sound, but you can normally tell after listening for a while, as the Blackbirds make other sounds as well.

Has anyone else seen Crested Shrike-Tits around there lately?

Bill
