Hi folks

Has anyone any tips what and where in the general vicinity of this town I
could expect to see?

I'll be staying at Peppers somewhere here:
http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Kingscliff+NSW&daddr=-28
.276449,153.576676&hl=en&geocode=CeIDWn7QLecDFQHeUP4d1mAnCQ%3B&mra=mi&mrsp=1
&sz=16&vps=2&jsv=184a&sll=-28.274867,153.581657&sspn=0.008239,0.021136&num=1
0

Since it's a work conference etc, I will only have foot transport and no
car. And perhaps only a few hours to enjoy some solitude away from the
madness of the gang.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks and regards

Akos

Hello all,

I am back from a couple of interesting trips. Last week, my wife and I
visited Lord Howe Island for the first time. Wow, what a spectacular
island! I prepared a number of photos that include a few birds. Here are
the links:

Prior to this, I went on a quick trip up to Dajarra, QLD, for reptile
photography. That area also is beautiful although harsh and dry. Again, I
included photos of birds. Here are links to the photos.

What shape and size? A photo might help if no one can work it out from the
description.
