Hi all,

On the weekend I was at Krambach NSW and was able to do some birding on
our property.

Saw the first Dollarbirds of the season making lots of noise. Amongst
all the usual suspects also saw both the Rufous and Golden Whistlers,
Rainbow Lorikeets for the first time since we have been there (4 years),
Olive-backed Oriole, Scarlet Honeyeater and White-throated Gerygone.

I am still having difficulties in differentiating a Satin Flycatcher
from a Leaden Flycatcher. I saw both the male and the female and the
photos are on Flickr. Could someone help me? The other 2 birds I think
I know but was hoping for confirmation was a Hardhead and a female
Rufous Whistler (also on Flickr).

Was also wondering if Eastern Spinebills are partially migratory? I
have seen these birds every time we have been there before but I haven't
spotted them in the last 2 months. Am I just not looking hard enough?

Kind regards,

Kim Gillen
