Hello All

Having just come back from the Flinders Ranges, in south Australia, I would
just like to recommend anyone contemplating a visit to do so soon. The
countryside is looking lovely at the moment, particularly in the southern
Finders, around Wilpena and Stokes Hill. Not only that, the country around
Carrieton and Craddock is "going off", with Orange Chats, Crimson and
White-fronted Chats commonly seen.

Brown Songlarks and White-winged Trillers are common also, both always a good
indicator of intersting birding. So, if you are thinking of going, and have the
time, then it would be a trip worth taking. Also, there seemed to be a nice
amount of Black-eared Cuckoo about, which are also another nice harbinger.

Regards,

Michael W
