The Edithvale birdhide was plagued by a magpie-lark that continually attacked its own reflection in the anti-glare film on the observation window - entailing a regular and hazardous ladder-mounted window cleaning task. Bird silhouettes and suspended CDs didn't work - but 2 rubber snakes on the window sill did the trick... :-)
