There's a small rainforest patch near Ourimbah, Central Coast, NSW,
called the Forest of Tranquility which was perviously called Askania
Park.
Made a quick visit today and was asked if I could find a copy of a
booklet produced 30 years ago about the birds and trees of Askania Park.
If anyone has a book they can copy or spare I'm sure they would be
very interested.
Best birds in 15 minutes where Lathams Snipe x 1 and Sharp-tailed
Sandpiper x 1 on creek on way in, a Brush Turkey raking a mound on
edge of car park.
Cheers
Alan
