just on a technical note, probably not. the iphone development market
is fairly closed. it's also specialised, in that to write for a
windows mobile you'd be completely rewriting it. almost totally. for a
start, usually an iphone application is written in Objective-C.
I've tried it out, not in proper anger yet, and it seems very nice.
Especially as I *always* have my phone on me. Even when not out
birding with a notebook. It's really the first application I've used
on the iPhone, apart from e.g. straight Google Maps access, that
really benefits from the built-in GPS.
