Here they are:

There are two English-language birdfinding guides, both out of print: A
Birdwatcher's Guide to Japan, by Mark Brazil (1987) ISBN 0-87011-849-8, and A
Birder's Guide to Japan, by Jane Washburn Robinson (1987) ISBN 0-934797-02-1

This might be useful too:

Hi all

Off to Kyoto next week and should have a day to two to spare for birding. As I
recall Japanese field guides are non-existent in English. Can anyone advise -
also, any birding spots in the vicinity.

Best
Pat
