Hello all, One of the guys who posts often on the reptile sites just completed a 3-week trip across the outback from Perth to Sydney. He found and photographed some amazing birds. Here is a link to his report: http://www.fieldherpforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=26920&p=274706#p274706 I think that it is on one of the bird sites as well.
