Nigel
Without seeing the bird move or being able to compare its size and
judging by the tail mainly I would guess that both birds are Brown
Goshawks, one is a juvenile.

Hi all,
Observed from my front yard in Albion Park this morning were 2 similar
looking raptors.
The camera was nearby so I managed to get some individual shots as well
as a
couple of the birds soaring together for a brief period.
Photos can be found at the links below. I'd be interested to hear the
opinions of seasoned raptor spotters as to the identity of the 2 birds
and
why.
