No shortage of cockatoos in Helensburgh, the $#%$#s have learned how to
open the lids on our garbage bins (otto or wheeley bins) in the last
few years and on garbage night they come in and scatter garbage all over
the street, not to mention opening our bin under the house and rummaging
through it. They are capable of pushing a house brick off the lid to
get it open and seem to be able to detect when the bin is near full and
the garbage inside within reach. I've now got a chain around the
handles, it's too heavy for them to lift it seems.
