Hi,

Rob Hynson and I had the following highlights in the area around Pitt
Town/Scheyville NP:
6+ White-throated Needletails
2 longish slender Apus-type swift quickly flying by - most likely Fork-tailed
Swifts
2 Square-tailed Kites (looked like a pair; the drabber one caught and ate a
Noisy Miner)
1 interesting female Collared Sparrowhawk moulting its outer tail feathers
many Little Lorikeets
2 female Scarlet Honeyeaters
3+ Brown-headed Honeyeaters
2 Jacky Winters

One negative highlight: a Red Fox

Cheers,

Nikolas
