Subject: [Chough-chat] Images required
Hi everyone,
The Broken Boosey and Goldfields CMN's are producing a free bird ID
booklet covering 106 of the (approx) 280 bird species found within the 2
CMN areas, which cover some of the plains and box ironbark regions of
the GB Catchment.
We need good quality images of the following to complete the booklet:
1. Swift Parrot image or a distribution map
2. Musk Lorikeet
3. Crested Shrike-tit (male and female)
4. Grey-crowned Babbler nest
5. Painted Button Quail
6. Eastern Yellow Robin
7. Regent Honeyeater
8. Red Wattlebird
9. Australian Hobby in flight
10. Swamp Harrier on a perch
11. Whistling Kite on a perch
12. White-bellied Sea Eagle on a perch
13. Australian Grebe
14. Barn Owl flying (might be a difficult one)
15. Hardhead female or pair
16. Red-kneed Dotterel
Obviously we'd prefer to get permission to use these images free of
charge rather than have to pay for them, we'd prefer to print more
booklets than to spend our funding on purchasing images, but we will
purchase the images if we have to.
If you have images of any of the above and you wouldn't mind us using
them, or if you know somewhere we could get them (even if it means us
buying them), could you please let me know?
You will be rewarded with a couple of copies of an excellent quality
bird id booklet and your name will appear next to the image!
Thanks,
Jim
