We have some large Erythrina trees (or Coral Trees) in the garden which attract
Rainbow Lorikeets at various times of the year. Right now the trees are full
of them going through the thick foliage and I think they are eating the leaf
miners or some similar grub that are on/in many of the leaves. I would not say
that they defoliate the trees to any extent.

regards

Ben
