G'day Peter,

Was at Edithvale yesterday and the water is right up after last week's rain.
No sign of the Painted Snipe and apparently it hasn't been seen since the
rain. If it is still at the wetland, I imagine it will be a week or two
before water recedes to a level where it may come out into the open as it
did so spectacularly for the past nine weeks or so.

Is anyone able to give me an update on the current situation at Edithvale?

Is the Painted Snipe still around and in the same spot? What are water
levels like?

Cheers,

Peter
