Nice to hear about the firmware change for the CSx - I'll tell my mate!

I always use auto for the track logging interval. The Geotagging software I use
will interpolate the location from the difference between the last and
following points, based on time. That's plenty accurate for me!

Paul, this is no longer true for the 60CSx, a firmware update (v2.90) added a
feature to allow track logging directly to the SD card in the form of a .GPX
file. A single file is created for each day (as required) and all logging is
appended to the respective GPX file. GPX files can then either be downloaded by
taking out the SD card or setting the GPS to 'Mass Storage Mode' and accessing
the SD card as if it was a USB-drive when connected to the computer.

Also, how do you configure your track logging? My active buffer lasts no more
than a few hours - however I set track logging to 'Time Interval = 1sec' meaning
I log every point of data. So it really depends on how you have it configured.
Setting it to Auto means it will only log a point if there is a significant time
or distance change, meaning you save a lot of track memory but don't get all the
data.

Cheers
Scott.
