No - you would be a madman. Please don't put yourself in that situation, and
others in the position of having to get you out.

I camped at Iron Range in January for a week nearly 20 years ago; flying to
Lockhart River then walking into the park. It was a very soggy walk, but I
warn you that driving anywhere in the park at that slushy time of year is
not to be taken lightly. I remember a car needing to be towed out of the
Chilli Beach road, for example. It's a fantastic time of year to go though,
teeming with life.

But please, don't attempt the drive from Weipa.
