The best place for owls is Mitchell Park where Masked ,Powerful,Sooty, and
Boo Book have been recorded in recent times. Pitt Town Bottoms used to be a
great place for Barn Owls but none there these days. The paddocks in front
of Bakers Lagoon could be good as we watched Black Shouldered Kites catching
plenty of mice there today to feed there young. The pair of Diamond Doves
seen a couple of weeks ago were in Powells Lane today close to the small
dam.
