GT and I have had a good poke around Castlereagh on a number of
occasions looking for owls during the day. The best we came up with
was a Barn (?) Owl feather and some poo.
I suppose you're looking for Boobook and Powerful mostly in that area.
Boobooks are fairly regularly heard up where we are on the escarpment,
but I haven't heard one for a while and have no idea of when the
Boobooks like to call, it seems random.
I think Powerfuls are on eggs at the moment, and so are pretty quiet.
The Castle Hill bird might still be around if you're lucky.
