Hi Helga,

I was at the Warby Ranges SP for three days this week (27, 28, 29
July), which is south of Chiltern.

Plenty of Grey-crowned Babblers around in the north (head south along
the creek bed adjacent to Forest Camp), and on the Friends Track in
the south (starts at Wenhams Camp). Frenzies of Honeyeaters in the
northern section (Killawarra) - Fuscous, White-plumed, White-naped and
the odd Yellow-tufted and Black-chinned. I was hoping for Regent HE,
but sadly no luck! Lots of Noisy Friarbird around too. Turquoise
Parrot (one individual) at the Spring Ck Picnic Area, plus Speckled
Warbler widespread.

Go to www.parkweb.vic.gov.au for the Parknote map of the Warby's.

Regards,

Luke Shelley
