Sydney, sort of rydeish/gladesville .. nice area

Max and another else who is in the market for some Nutmeg manikins, they are
showing well in  Sydney Park at present. There are groups of up to 30 birds
which is more than I have seen for a number of years.

They are easy to get close to, even with three stupid dogs.

If you are in the park on dust you have a fair to quite good chance of
seeing microbats hunting. Hanging around the bottom of number 4 lake is
pretty rewarding in that area. It's also a good place to watch the
flying-foxes drinking,
