Hi all,

At Victoria Park, in Camperdown, central-ish Sydney, there was a party of
around 20 Figbirds near the steps leading into the University of Sydney feeding
on the fruits in the fig tree. On the other side of the pond, high up in
another fig tree, was a pair of Figbirds building a nest. I thought this was a
bit early, so thought I'd pass on the news.

If anyone wants specific directions to the tree, or to see a couple of pictures
of the female just below the nest, let me know and I'll be happy to pass on the
information.

There was also a Magpie that appeared to be actively gathering material for a
nest, which corresponds with Carl Clifford's chicken wire report from the other
day.

Cheers
Troy
