Dear All,

I agree with Evan - V8s? Who needs em? I think we should have a Monster
Truck race across Newington Armoury - it would enable access to currently
unbirdable locations, get rid of hidden unexploded ordinance, and think of
the benefits to the NSW health system's consultants.

PS We could also have a mud-crab feast for all the rev-heads - courtesy of
the protected waters in Homebush Bay. Think of the long-term science on
dioxin effects on petrolheads.

There's a proposal from NSW Govt to hold a V8 Supercar race at
Homebush Bay. Virtually everyone apart from the Government is opposed
to it, including me. I raise it here so that others can keep an eye on
it, in case they go power hungry and mad and still decide to run the
race, despite the concerns of everyone.

They're not even good cars. If it was F1 it might be a different story.
