Hi Frank,

Last year I saw the Red Goshawk at Bitter Springs Caravan Park.  When I 
couldn't find it in the nest tree, I was told by Mike Reed who has a lovely 
B & B near Katherine to keep a watch on the trees across the road from the 
entrance to the park as they just sit quietly when not breeding.  Just as 
well I had that information otherwise I would have missed it.  Local 
information is worth a lot.  His number is 08-8972-3444 for uptodate
