Hi all

We are producing a leaflet, linked to planting an area to encourage Common Bronzewings.

I'd like to include some facts about pigeons and I wonder if these are true (or at least unrefuted):

- pigeons always lay two eggs, one for each sex, which is why parents with a boy and a girl have "a pigeon pair".

- pigeons, uniquely amongst birds, produce a sort of milk to feed their young

Any others are welcome!
