I've looked for Aus Little Bittern a lot since November - not a sign and I have 
seen the european and african counterparts many times in various countries, so 
i know what I'm looking for. Good luck at Sherwood but I would not rate your 
chances. Also people rarely see Bush-hens at Shewood these days. I have seen 
them a couple of time at the top of Gold Creek Road. Go through to the base of 
the Dam wall and look in the outflow stream from the small bridge. They can be 
quite easy early morning - I saw 3 or 4 (adults with young) in January. I've
