House Crow still present

This morning I spent some 15 minutes at the children's playgrpund area from 
8:00 am without success.  Then moved down to the beach at the northern end of 
Dee Why promenade (about 100m S of the Surf Club) and the House Crow was the 
first bird I saw around 8:20am.  It was foraging in the soft sand just above 
the tideline, very confiding and easily approached to within 3m.
