Who knows how climate change, whether it is natural or man made, will
affect "natural" animal population distribution across the globe. When
our landmass eventually gets closer to or bumps into Asia there will be
heaps of species that will "naturally" self introduce. But, until that
time, if it is obviously man introduced or assisted, accidental or
purposely, we have to decide to either shrug shoulders and not care or
eradicate it, if possible, especially if it is a perceived threat with a
bad history overseas. 

So, what is your stance Grant, let em all in regardless, or, try to
control.

Well if thats the case why worry about one ship
assisted bird in Sydney when we should be looking to
the north for a possible invasion.
