Today 17 March, Paul Carter (who is visiting me from his workplace near
Cloncurry) saw two Oriental Cuckoos at the Red Cedar Picnic Ground on the
Northbrook Parkway which goes up to Mt Glorious from the Brisbane Valley and is
about 30km northwest of Brisbane.

Both were females, one a grey bird and the other a rufous morph. Paul
photographed the grey one and the yellow feet are strikingly obvious in the
picture. Both were in the same tree.
