A few days ago someone asked about where to see Koalas in the wild. They stated either NQld or Sydney area and a reply stated that these areas were not the best. This may help the asker.

As i have deleted the letter i cannot reply with the thread subject heading so please excuse the confusion,

Yesterday a group of Birds Queensland people birded John Oxley Reserve in Pine Shire north of Brisbane and saw at least 3 koalas from the well made sealed wheelchair friendly walking track. Also 71 bird species were identified.

JOR is at the end of Ogg Rd off Dohles rocks Road at Murrumba Downs. Brisbane UBD Reference map 99, F2. Its about 3km off the Bruce highway in the middle of suburbia.
