I think I just sent a duplicate of yesterday's report - sorry.

Saw the Lewin's for nearly a minute at 6pm tonight, wandering in the reeds 
opposite the southern platform. This bird seemed to have a darker crown than I 
remember seeing before.

Then over the next 40 minutes I struggled to find 4 Spotless Crakes in various 
places around the pond. They were being far more wary than they have been, 
hugging the reeds and staying in far more than out.

Five or six Sharp-tailed Sandpipers were seen to disappear into the hole in the 
reeds opposite the platform. Is that unusual behaviour?

The water has dropped another cm and there are large mud flats at the east end 
again.
