Yep, any other species on the planet, the size of humans and with a
population of 6,500 million would be considered a pest or plague by
humans.
I am not suggesting culling any animal population every time someone
complains such and such an animal is an inconvenience for whatever
reason. I am suggesting we look at the circumstances, use the knowledge
we have and act accordingly and pragmatically and stop being a bunch of
bleeding hearts about wildlife otherwise we simply lose credibility in
the eyes of those who don't know and don't care.

corellas
One day our seas may be over populated by the numbers of whales
cruising our coasts. Will we then have to cull these?
We could employ a group of Japanese Whalers.
I'm glad to see John and Greg have thrown in a bit of reality.
I am very against locals or small self interest groups deciding to
cull birds, or anything but I have for some time been of the opinion
that one day we may have to reduce numbers of some species.
The species we probably need to limit most is the human one.
