Hi Bruce
Freckled Duck is easy to see at Lake Lorne, on the northern approaches to
Drysdale on Portarlington Rd (SE of Geelong on he Bellarine Peninsula).
There are usualy a few dozen here. Look at the islands in the middle - the
Freckled Ducks are usually roosting just out of the water. Occasionally
you'll see them swimming as well. The head shape is the most obvious ID
feature.
