I will be in Port Douglas for 10 days from March 9-19 and would love to meet up 
with a local birder at some point to do a morning of birding.  I'm already 
planning on doing a couple of the official river tours, but besides this, it 
would be enjoyable for me to rub shoulders with a non-professional local birder 
and explore some of the favorite local haunts.

I will also be at the Kingfisher lodge from March 7-9.

I look forward to seeing this beautiful part of the world.
