1. A Cockatiel on a power line outside a rural house on Forest Rd North (adjacent to the western boundary of Serendip Sanctuary), north of Lara Lake township. The bird was unbanded and in excellent condition. A probable escape?? 2. An all-white (but dark-eyed) Common Indian Myna (associating with 2 normally plumaged Mynas) on power lines in Maidstone St, Altona (Melways Map 54 C9). 3. A Lewin's Rail at Mt St Joseph Pond - seen around 8am from the north viewing platform - close clear views for 1-2 mins. 4. The Little Curlew in its usual location (re-marked with the original black plastic - now tied to the fence).
