Denise,We did the Kununurra-Broome trip last August, via Halls Creek & Fitzroy Crossing. Bitumen all the way. We would not take our non-off road caravans over the Gibb River Road. If your friends do not want to stay in town caravan parks I can recommend the Leycesters Rest Area on the Ord River as one good off-road spot for overnight. Regards Roger. |
