Helmeted Guineafowl

I'm interested to know why there is no talk of controlling all these Guineafowl? 4 Canada Geese flew in and everyone wants to get rid of them asap (which i agree with) but there doesn't seem to be any stress about these birds?
Is it because they don't do as much damage?
I'd love to hear opinions/reasons??

(I have also seen a flock north of Cairns in the middle of a large roundabout on the main road!)

Cheers
Dave

What about the small flock near Mareeba Wetlands?

There has been a flock near the hospital in Chillagoe (Far W of
Cairns) for quite a few years and the locals say they belong to no-
one and they look after themselves. Same story in Wyndham in the
Kimberley.

There is a flock of them at the Black Bull Siding on the Gulflander
