Dave,
Did you derive your comparison list from the Book itself or from the 
information on the website? I haven't bought the book (after buying Clements & 
Howard & Moore I thought an internet resource would be enough). However, there 
taxonomy is obviously different from both (though what I have looked at 
slightly closer to H&M) but I could find no information on tthe website 
regarding how they decided the taxonomy to use (though lots of details on how 
they came up with the accepted common names and reactions from bird groups 
though I note nothing from Birds Australia at this stage).
Any ideas on this would be appreciated.
