Hi all, During the warmer months a medium sized flock of Welcome Swallows forms at the top of my streert in East Killara, NSW. The birds usually number between 15-30, and spend a lot of their time perched together along some powerlines which hang over the road. They fly around hawking for insects when they aren't perched or roosting. Why is it that the Swallows flock around this one spot so often?
