Hi all,
Last week I camped at Stuart's Point, on the Mid North Coast of NSW. On
Wednesday night (Jan 2nd) I went up to the nearby Mount Yarrahapinni in search
for a Sooty Owl that had eluded me thus far. I waited for nightfall at the
Pines Picnic area. Soon after dark two Sooty's began calling and after an hour
of trying to find them in the tree-tops I eventually spotted one and had a
beautiful look for about 10 minutes. The following night I returned to show a
friend, but unfortunately we were unable to locate any that night.
