The Queensland Wader Study Group has been putting [dark] green coded flags on the birds that it has been banding [at the Manly wader roost]. They are interested in where the birds are going to around Moreton Bay, so if you come across them [you can read the codes through binoculars at 10-30 metres depending on your eyes and optics] I'm sure they would appreciate receiving your reports - Phil & Linda Cross xenus_AT_big.net.au / Jon Coleman Janetandjon_AT_hotmail.com.

Regards, Laurie.
