Hi folks

Well with no particular plans for over Christmas we
think we might just toss some things in the car and
see where the road takes us. Will just find camping
spots along the way (will have our dog with us).

Unfortunately I can't seem to access the archives.

I am after some suggestions of good birding/wildlife
spots for this time of year, keeping in mind our dog
(although quiet/behaved) will be with us (on lead, in
car or in temp kennels for a few hours). Will work
around our restrictions!

And we don't have a 4wd so not sure what road
conditions are like at the moment.

If I can get to Hattah for half a day I will. Would
love to know of any other spots on route from
Melbourne to Mildura area. Spots that are reasonably
safe for me to do some birding here and there on my
own for a couple hours if my other half has to mind
the dog elsewhere.

Thankyou in advance.

Cheryl
