First Little Tern nest on south coast NSW

Hi all

The first Little Tern nest on the south coast was recorded today at Lake 
Conjola sand spit.  About 30 birds are busy checking out the sand flats at the 
moment.  The sand spit is very low this season, washed flat by storms in late 
winter, leaving the eggs vulnerable to inundation. Fox tracks have been seen on 
the beach, but the local Rural Lands Protection Board is hot on it's tail.
