Dear all Following a (correct) report of the bird at abou\t 1800 I went to Picnic Point (at the seaward end of Jetty Road) today at 1830, a bit before low tide. Saw a Common Sandpiper resting and feeding towards the south-west of the remains of the rock platform at the end of the car park.
