Hello Philip,

Well, yes that is true. However, I reckon a fairly high proportion of brushtails around areas with busy roads in Tassie end up squashed on the road eventually. Not to mention all the other critters- pademelons, bandicoots etc. If I was a little bird looking for fur I know where I'd be going.

Cheers

Mick

Hi Mick,
Nice story but surely Brushtail Possums die from causes other than road kills. They weren't immortal before arrival of the car. Philip
