I have no argument with the previous postings on the predictable decision of a
merchant banker (and the short memory of the opposition spokeshead) to continue
a centuries old tasmanian practice of rape and pillage.

However most postings may be labouring under the misapprehension that
compressed white fluff that remains of our old growth eucalypts is used soley
to box up their plasma screen or feed the insatiable appetite of our mailboxes.

Pulp also has a far more valuable purpose - replacing asbestos in cement fibre
board. This makes it dependant on that most successful of all job creators -
real estate speculation. No doubt the Wedge-tails and Forty-spotteds will
appreciate this nuance when they take out their next lo-doc securitised house
mortgage.
