G'day Jill I haven't used them but I know of a few: Robert's Birds of southern Africa CD ROm or PDA versions http://www.sabirding.co.za/products/index.htm National Geographic's "Handheld Birds" (North America) http://www.whatbird.com/store/pc-485-12-national-geographic-handheld-birds.aspx Collins Bird eGuide (Europe) http://www.nhbs.com/title.php?tefno=144626 There are some iPod solutions with bird songs as well. So, it can be done and is being done but I reckon our market is a bit small.
